Wow, I can't believe I never put this up.
This was from last semesters 2D Design project.
I had to make three book covers with one word for the title.
This one was rather emotional.
I had a story behind it, but I can't really recall it.

I think it's in my folders somewhere. Let me check.

Ah I found the story.

Story

"It was a car accident.." She whispered silently.
"Just a car accdient...my mom...my baby brother...where are they?" She had not even noticed the wings that had sprouted from her back.
She was merely walking, silently speaking to herself, trying to figure out where she was and why.
"Blood. All over the ground. My mom's eyes..staring at me...she had blinked."
She stood at a staircase wrapped in vines with blue roses.
"I could hear my brother cry...he was still in the car. Me and Mom...on the asphalt...glass stinging at my hands...lights..sirens...they all faded away. Sleeping...falling asleep."
She began to ascend the stairs and stopped at an old looking door.
"Where are they?....Where am I?....Where's the car?"

The girl had been in a car accident. Her mother, baby brother, and herself was driving home from dinner. She was telling her mother a joke from school when a drunk driver crashed straight into them. Her and her mother's seatbelts had unbuckled themselves and they went flying out the front window. The baby brother was strapped into a car seat, so he was safe.
The mother had lived, but the girl did not.
The girl had ascended into heaven, yet couldn't figure out why or how. But once she passes through the door, she will forget it all and be at peace with herself.

"Where are they?" She whispered one last time before opening the door...to the other side.
